What is the price tag for the breach?
$20 million and counting. The tab – which has paid for credit monitoring, security upgrades and consultants – is expected to increase with other state agencies submit requests to bolster their computer systems. Gov. Nikki Haley’s executive budget included at least another $16.6 million in breach-related requests.
