I have been putting off writing this post for months now. I originally gave a talk on the subject at a NoVA Hackers meeting back in February. So here is finally my attempt at putting it into a blog post, as I had said I would immediately after the talk (yeah that didn't happen).
Smb_login is a Metasploit auxiliary module that will attempt an SMB login at a specified IP address. It of course has the ability to be provided with a list of usernames and passwords to brute force credentials across various IP addresses.
