Botnet Shylock Legal Notice

Plaintiffs Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft”) and Financial Services – Information Sharing and Analysis Center, Inc. (“FS-ISAC”) have sued Defendants John Does 1-8 associated with the Internet domains, domain name servers, and IP addresses listed below. Plaintiffs allege that Defendants have violated Federal and state law by operating a computer botnets through these Internet domains, name servers, and IP addresses, causing unlawful intrusion into Plaintiffs, Plaintiff’s member institutions, and Plaintiffs’ customers’ computers; intellectual property violations; and violations of the Racketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations Act to the injury of Plaintiffs’, Plaintiffs’ member institutions, and Plaintiffs’ customers.

Plaintiffs have obtained a temporary restraining order disabling domains and IP addresses used to control the Shylock botnets.
